We also make a clear distinction between the child and their behaviour, sending the message: “I like you and accept you, but I do not like what you did.” This helps preserve their self-esteem while guiding them toward better choices. Positive behaviour is reinforced through smiles, sticker charts, and encouraging words like “Thank you” or “Let’s try it together.” These consistent practices help create a warm, safe, and motivating environment where children feel valued and inspired to grow.

For our kindergarten students, assessments are informal, stress-free, and woven seamlessly into daily activities through classroom observations and student work samples.
